The Plutonium Pulsar Pistol (P3) was a standard issue side arm in the Manticartian Royal Space Marines during their first dynasty. The plutonium core gave the P3 virtually endless firepower needing only to be recharged every 2 solar cycles or so. Unfortunately very few remain in existence today due to the P3's core being coveted by Betazeen terrorists who used them to make "dirty" bombs.
