Space Turtle (desk lamp base, oil can, door stop, silver lamp bendable necks, paper shredder gears, brass lamp parts, etc.)

Named "Willie" the Space Turtle by it's owner, this was one of the few summer projects I took on. I'm not very dedicated to commission work but I could not resist the challenge of making a turtle robot. Initially I had nothing to go on but once I dug up the small oil can for his head I was off to the races. I envision Willie retracting his legs in hover mode as he prepares to jet off into space.
