I got an unusual request for a donation to a church charity auction from a woman who takes care of my dad. She has given quite a bit of usable junk over the years so I wasn't going to say no. She wanted a "priest robot". After much soul searching (pun intended) I was a bit worried that any priest robot I make may be borderline offensive to current men of the cloth. Since my work is "retro" I decided to instead make a retro fictional saint robot. Thus, Saint Roboticus, Patron Saint of Robots, Androids & Cyborgs, was born.
