Guan Qi is a robot torn between listening to his computer brain or his old grumpy mechanical heart. You see, the day they were handing out hearts, they ran out of sparkling new ones when Guan Qi showed up. So he was given a refurbished used model. Unfortunately it was a cranky bent heart who liked to wander off so Guan Qi  keeps it on a chain to avoid any messy relationship entanglements.
