My daughter, who is a school social worker, told me she has a student who was on the spectrum that loved taking electronic units apart. So much so that his parents would get him cheap electronics just for him to disassemble. She mentioned that I like do the same and make robot sculptures out of them. He got really excited about that so my daughter asked me if I could make a robot for him out of some pieces he selected. I was more than happy to do so and "Tin Hing" was born (came from company named stamped on power supply). My daughter reported that he was thrilled and immediately started to name the parts and telling her where they came from.
